This last month UNIQ-Ǝ! once again opened its doors and welcomed Architect Cesare Chichi and Designer Mauro Pizzi from 967Arch to engage in a creative brainstorming session with our additive manufacturing technical and commercial team, conceptualizing and venturing on new ideas for metal 3D printed luxury faucets.

967Arch, with its extensive work in research, innovation and experimentation, remains captivated with the overwhelming possibilities to create a combination of emotional and functional faucets, that makes a statement and most importantly tells a story.

After founding the practice in Milan in 1999, founders and partners, Cesare Chichi and Stefano Maestri, sourced and hired a strong group of young designers and architects to immediately initiate brand-new projects with multinational companies. 967Arch accomplished in undoubtedly a brief period, a portfolio of leading international companies including Google, American Express, Amplifon and Bosch.

Arch. Chichi recounts how each project experience brought more to the next, yet he approaches each one differently. Whether it would be from the vibe received from the client, the story they needed to tell or the emotion they needed to feel in that space, and how, in a world of communication, their projects must have a narrative that recounts the corporate image and portrays their brand accurately. “We understood it's not for pleasure, but these projects are strictly designed in harmony with the company.”

There is a necessity to know and meet the clients, but the fundamental key is to understand the company’s core and how they need to be represented in a space that exemplifies their company image and market presence. Once 967Arch has established the client’s history and influence in their field, the project draws itself.

The meeting held earlier this month introduced 967Arch to the new smart features which UNIQ-Ǝ! is planning to incorporate into the faucets, making them the most revolutionary conversation pieces to find in bathroom. 967Arch is now deeply engaged in designing pieces that capture the essence of metal 3D printed faucets and UNIQ-Ǝ!’s movement toward the reinvention of the faucet.
