In April 2020 UNIQ∙Ǝ! launched a project aimed at a group of designers and architects focussing on creating a revolutionary faucet concept that had the strength to completely liberate itself from the formal stereotypes and interpret the new paradigm that 3D technology makes possible.

Italian journalist and TV author of design and architecture Giorgio Tartaro, acquainted and proposed UNIQ∙Ǝ! with numerous Italian and international designers and architects, identified for their inherent ability towards the project itself. After a series of meetings and interactions, 4 studios agreed to join forces with UNIQ∙Ǝ! creator and founder Giovanni Pitturru, to challenge and measure themselves against limitless design freedom: Dodo Arslan from Dodo Arslan Studio, Cesare Chichi and Mauro Pizzi from 967 Arch, Pasquale Piroso from Loft Canova and Gerardo Sannella_MYGG.

Following UNIQ·Ǝ!’s first attempt to present their concept to the world through a digital fair in November 2020, founder and creator Giovanni Pitturru realized that these distinctive pieces needed to be seen and touched in real-life in order to fully appreciate their value and the brand’s potential to service clients with bespoke products.

After a year and a half of uncertainty for event organizers, with an encouraging distribution of vaccinations against COVID-19 worldwide, live events have started to make a comeback and exhibition organizers have resurfaced to promote international trade fairs with in-person attendance.

Coincidently, UNIQ·Ǝ! has just completed the last of the four extraordinary faucets after months of concept development and high-tech applications. The brand is excited to show the world the true future of faucet design and production which will highlight their professional capabilities.

The opening pages of the UNIQ·Ǝ! portfolio will be displayed in two international exhibitions this Autumn during both the Milan and Dubai design weeks; Fuorisalone 2021 and Downtown Design 2021. For both events, UNIQ·Ǝ! intends to target three groups; B2B/architects & designers, B2C/homeowners and expert enthusiasts who prioritize whole-system sustainable thinking and bespoke consumer products.

Fuorisalone 2021 returns live Sept. 4-10, while the Downtown Design fair in Dubai, U.A.E, returns live and in attendance Nov. 8-12.
